What is RF Microneedling?

RF Microneedling is the innovation that uses repeated ultra-short pulse micro-needling technology that selectively acts on abnormal blood vessels and tissues that increase pigmentation and vascular lesions, including hard-to-treat skin conditions like rosacea and melasma. It is also clinically proven to treat age-related skin changes such as skin laxity, enlarged pores, acne scars, redness, and wrinkles. This makes RF Microneedling a highly requested treatment option for skin rejuvenation. 

What the treatment involves?

RF Microneedling uses a radio-repeated pulse transmitted through the microneedles on the targeted skin area, causing controlled micro-injuries that allow the skin to regenerate on its own due to increased collagen production for skin repair. RF Microneedling uses short, repeated pulse that allows the skin to cool sufficiently and reduces downtime. 

Precise application of evenly layered electrodes is ensured with a robotic system to reach the desired depth during the treatment. Furthermore, using micro-electrodes, electromagnetic fields can penetrate dermal layers without damaging superficial tissues, thereby reducing redness, bleeding, and downtime compared to traditional micro-needling treatments. 

After the treatment 

Protect yourself from the sun for at least 72 hours post-procedure with sunblocks of at least SPF 30 and above (we have a sunblock that we recommend for you here) 

Avoid strenuous activities, swimming, and hot baths for 1 – 2 weeks.

If the procedure is done on the face and neck area, we advise against makeup for the next 24 hours.

Do not use peeling, scrubs, or phototherapy treatments (such as Laser or IPL) for the next two weeks.

When will I see the results? 

After the procedure, results should show within 2-4 weeks when collagen and elastin stimulation happens. You should see skin brightening with light pigmentations and skin tones that are more even. 

For skin tightening, results should show after the 2nd week, while visible scar reductions should be seen in the fourth week.
